Larry Thompson - Celebration of Life

There will be a Celebration of Life for Larry at Adrian’s At The Airport restaurant, Langley Regional Airport, 5385 216 St, on Sunday 23 April, 1330 to 1630.

Obituary...

"Larry Thompson passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023, just 9 days short of his 99th birthday in Langley, BC. Born on March 14, 1924, Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to many. He was predeceased by Yvonne, his wife of 72 years. He is survived by 3 daughters, two sons, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Larry lived his life to the fullest. He served in the Canadian Army during WWII, he drove his taxi in Vancouver for 40 years, built two airplanes and piloted them for many years with Yvonne by his side. Many of his grandchildren have fond memories of him taking them out for their very first flights at a young age. Everyone will remember him for his corny jokes, pure sense of humor and his devoted care to his wife, Yvonne, until she passed in 2019. Larry lived a long life and had a positive impact on many and will be very missed. A celebration of life will be held at Adrian's at the Airport (Langley) on Sunday April 23rd from 1:30 to 4:30 PM.”

See you there,

Bruce
