Improved Grass Parking Area:
The airport makes available the large grass area around the AFC club house. We rope that off for parking areas. Aircraft access to the grass is via a 40ft gate at the north end of the hanger compound.

Club members have worked to improve the grass area for aircraft operation over the last two years. The gravel transition through the gate has been smoothed and we have worked to reduce the ruts and holes in the grass. However caution is always required and there are some drainage grates in the grass.

Members will be available to assist your arrival. Should you choose to shut down, we will help to push your aircraft into a suitable place. Look for a frequency card being held up so that we can talk to you about needs.
