Our guest speaker on Feb. 20th is Kucki Low. She is South Africa's first female airline pilot. She will speak about the great adventure she took to get her airline captins licence and be able to say the words " This is Kucki your captin speaking". Her speach is accompanied with a slide show with many pictures of Africa taken during her adventure. Kucki has written a book about her adventure "This is Kucki your captin speaking" . Kucki is hired by many corporations as a motivational speaker and she has agreed to be the guest speaker at our club meeting .

It’s that time of year again where flying sometimes has to take a back seat to the weather. I don’t know about you but I am not getting as much flying activity as I would like. For that reason COPA flight 5 Boundary Bay Flying club has setup four Safety Seminars.

As in previous years the sessions are not always about safety but are designed to increase your knowledge and to get you thinking. All the sessions will start at 19:00 and go until 21:00 or longer if you stick around for another cup of coffee and some interesting conversation.
