This meeting is a result of a Nav Canada meeting that were held earlier this summer regarding VFR operating procedures in the BC Lower Mainland. At that meeting there was one representative from each of the local COPA flights, the RAA and the EAA and from the local flying schools.

It was requested that a meeting be held that any member of these organizations or any concerned pilot could attend. Nav Canada is now providing this opportunity and I urge the pilots of your organization that are concerned about VFR procedures in this area to attend.

There is a large meeting room in the Area Control Centre, however as stated below it will be on a first come basis and once filled others can join via Webinar. Please respond to Nav Canada’s John Dicknoether if you plan to attend either in person or by webinar.
