I just got off the phone with Dave Rendle of Aviall and got clarification on Aviall’s statement:

“Please note attending the speaking sessions will be signed off by Aviall and approved by Transport Canada for recurrent training.”

Dave advises that this relates to AME recurrent certification and not to pilot recurrent training. He is waiting for the official letter from Transport Canada regarding the recurrent training for AMEs, but anticipates it shortly. For further information, please contact Aviall direct.

Having said that I think for $25, it is still good value for 2 days of seminars & and a trade show.

Unfortunately I can’t attend as I am a COPA meeting in Saskatoon on the same dates, otherwise I would plan to attend.
